This guide takes you through the process of activating your remote access to the Journal of Fluency Disorders on ScienceDirect. By following the steps outlined, you’ll be able to access the journal from any device, anywhere. From signing in with your WSCO membership email, to confirming your access and optionally setting up a personalised ScienceDirect profile, this guide ensures a smooth experience for uninterrupted access to valuable research resources.

If you have not set up your WSCO Mailbox, follow the steps in the Setting up your WSCO Mailbox guide first.

The process

  1. Register on ScienceDirect

    1. Go to www.sciencedirect.com

    2. Select My account (top right)

    3. Enter your email address and click Continue

    4. Fill out the registration form

    5. Scroll down and click Register

    6. Click Continue

  2. Activate your remote access

    1. Go to www.sciencedirect.com

    2. Click Sign in (top right)

    3. Enter your @member.thewsco.org email address

    4. Click Submit and continue

  3. Confirm you Membership

    1. Go to mail.google.com

    2. Log in with your @member.thewsco.org email address

    3. Open the verification email from Elsevier Identity

    4. Click the Get access link in the email

    5. Check if you're logged in
